Liverpool target Moses Simon joins Levante


Nigeria international Moses Simon has joined Spanish La Liga club Levante from Gent on a five-year deal.

The 23-year-old forward who is currently recovering from a hip injury had previously been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer.

Greek giants Olympiacos have opened negotiations with Braga over the signing of Egypt international Ahmed Hassan, KingFut reports.

The Legends have reached an agreement for the signing of the 25-year-old who provided six goals and two assists in the 2017-18 season but payment is yet to be made.


Amuneke named new Tanzania coach


Former Nigeria youth coach Emmanuel Amuneke has been confirmed as Tanzania national team coach, the country’s FA confirmed .

The former Super Eagles and Barcelona forward led Nigeria u17 team to World Cup glory in 2015 and has managed several clubs including Sudan’s Al Khartoum, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hazm amongst others

Bordeaux sign Kalu as Malcom’s replacement


Bordeaux have completed the signing of Nigeria’s Samuel Kalu on a five-year contract from Gent.

The 20-year-old winger has been tipped as a replacement for the Girondins’ star Malcom who left for Barcelona in a €30 million deal this summer.

Stoke reject Leicester City’s bid for Diouf


Leicester City have failed in their attempt to sign Stoke City forward Mame Biram Diouf with less than four days for the transfer window closes, according to the Sun .

The Foxes have been a long-time admirer of the Senegal international but fell short of the Potters’ £15 million valuation.

Diouf who was an unused substitute in his side’s 3-1 loss to Leeds United on Saturday, has two years left on his contract at the bet365 Stadium.


Ghezzal replaces Mahrez at Leicester


Algeria winger Rachid Ghezzal has moved to Premier League side Leicester City from Ligue 1 club Monaco for an undisclosed fee.

Ghezzal’s international team-mate Riyad Mahrez joined Manchester City from the Foxes last month and Leicester have now signed another Algerian winger on a four-year deal.

Rohr pleased with Musa’s move to Al Nassr


Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr is happy with Ahmed Musa’s transfer from Leicester City to Al Nassr.

The Super Eagles forward completed a four-year move to the Saudi Professional League on Friday after spending two years in the English top-flight.

And the Super Eagles coach believes that his decision to go to the Middle East is a good choice for his chances in the national team.

Chelsea near £75m Zaha deal


Chelsea are in pole position to sign £75 million-rated Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, the  Mirror claims.

Tottenham, initially leading the race for the signing of the Ivorian forward, have dropped their interest in the player due to the Eagles’ asking price.

Chelsea are now cleared to sign the 25-year-old before the Premier League summer transfer window closes on August 9. 


Bordeaux reach agreement with Gent for Kalu


Bordeaux have reached an agreement to sign Nigeria’s Samuel Kalu from Gent this summer, the club announced .

Kalu has two years left on his contract with the Belgian top-flight side and reportedly has a release clause of €8 million.

The 20-year-old who scored seven goals in 37 appearances across all competitions last term has been chosen as a replacement for Malcom who left for Barcelona this month.

West Ham end Brahimi pursuit


West Ham United will no longer pursue Algeria international Yacine Brahimi, according to Sky Sports .

An agreement has been reached between both clubs but personal terms could not be agreed between the player and the Premier League club.

Meanwhile, the Hammers are still in talks with Porto over the signing of Mali international Moussa Marega.

The Portuguese champions and Manuel Pellegrini’s side are yet to reach a common ground in their valuation for the player.


Marseille turn to Mikel Agu


Marseille are considering a season-long loan deal for Nigeria and Porto midfielder Mikel Agu, Le10 Sport reports.

The French Ligue 1 side are interested in strengthening their midfield with the 25-year-old who spent last season on loan at Bursaspor.

Marseille are preparing a loan offer with an option to sign the midfielder permanently at the end of the season.


Koulibaly ends Chelsea chase with new deal


Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has penned a new five-year contract ending speculations linking with a €90m move to Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Italian club president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed that the Senegal international has committed to fresh terms after rejecting €90m bids from three different clubs this summer.

Cameroon have appointed Dutch legends Clarence Seedorf and Patrick Kluivert as their national team head coach and assistant coach respectively.

Seedorf managed relegated Deportivo La Coruna last season in the Spanish La Liga while Kluivert was the former PSG sporting director.

Cameroon legend Samuel Eto’o has ended his seven months union with Konyaspor by mutual consent, the club announced .

The four-time African Footballer of the Year joined the Turkish Super Lig side from rivals Antalyaspor in January and went on to score six goals in 14 appearances.

Ahmed Musa joins Saudi club Al Nassr


Saudi Arabia top-flight club Al Nassr have completed the signing of Ahmed Musa on a four-year deal from Leicester City.

Both clubs reportedly agreed on a £14.8m fee with several add-ons, which will see the deal rise to as high as £25m.

Zaha wants Chelsea move 


Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha is ready to push for a move to Chelsea this summer, the Mirror reports. 

Zaha rejected an improved deal worth £125,000-a-week earlier this summer and has told his teammates of his desire to join Maurizio Sarri’s team before the transfer window closes on August 9.

The Ivorian star who has also attracted interest from Tottenham, might table a transfer request to force his move out of Selhurst Park.


Everton lead race for Slimani


Everton are leading the way to sign Leicester City’s Islam Slimani, according to Correio da Manha via Sport Witness .

The Algerian striker has been heavily linked with a move away from Leicester this summer, after a short career at the King Power Stadium.

Marco Silva looks set to strengthen his squad with Slimani who has scored just eight goals since his record move from Sporting CP.

Fenerbahce, Sporting CP have also shown interest in capturing the 30-year-old.
