French trio chase Nasser Maher


Three French Ligue 1 clubs – AS Monaco, Caen and Dijon are targeting Al Ahly’s midfielder Nasser Maher, according to France Football [via KingFut].

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan with second-division side Smouha SC and has started Al Ahly last two games in the Egyptian Premier League.

Maher who is under contract with Red Devils until 2021 has managed just three appearances for the reigning Egyptian champions since his promotion to the first team.


Real Betis reject Besiktas bid for Boudebouz


Real Betis have rejected a €15m offer from Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas for Algeria’s Ryad Boudebouz, reports BeIN Sports.

Boudebouz joined Betis from Montpellier last summer and made just 15 La Liga starts for Los Verdiblancos in the 2017-18 campaign.

Betis are ready to release the 28-year-old only if his buyout clause, which is worth more than €30m is activated.


Keita Balde joins Inter on loan


Inter Milan have completed the signing of Keita Balde on loan from Monaco, with an option to make the deal permanent.

The Senegal international will have another chance to shine in Serie A after spending just a season in the French Ligue 1.

Leganes in pole position to sign Omeruo


Kenneth Omeruo could be playing in LaLiga next season, with Leganes and Real Valladolid leading the race to sign the Chelsea defender on loan, according to AS.

The 24-year-old who spent last season on loan at Kasimpasa is interesting several European clubs including Goztepe, Bursaspor, Besiktas amongst others.

The Nigerian defender is yet to play a competitive game for Chelsea since his arrival from Standard Liege in 2014.


Ziyech still opened to Ajax exit


Ajax are still offering Morocco international Hakim Ziyech the chance to leave the club before the European transfer deadline, reports Calciomercato .

Due to Sevilla’s €35 million demands for Steven N’Zonzi, Roma are set to consider their options and might turn to the Atlas Lions midfielder who has a rather lower price.

Ziyech was on parade for Ajax in their league opener against Heracles on Saturday and provided an assist for De Ligt’s equaliser in an encounter that ended 1-1.


Acquah snubs Parma, Udinese for Empoli


Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah is ‘very close’ to signing for newly promoted Serie A side Empoli, according to Toro.it.

The Ghana international is set to sign a three-year contract with the option of a further year in a deal that worth €2.5 million.


Aina nears Torino loan


Ola Aina is close to joining Torino on loan from Chelsea after both clubs reached an agreement on Sunday, reports Sky Italia

The Super Eagles defender is expected to have his medical tomorrow after arriving at the Caselle Airport in Turin this afternoon. 

The Bulls also have the option to buy Aina for €8 million at the end of the season.


Middlesbrough hopeful on Bolasie


Championship club Middlesbrough are eyeing a loan deal for out-of-favour Everton winger Yannick Bolasie, claims Mirror .

The DR Congo international was reportedly close to joining Burnley temporarily on the transfer deadline day only for the Toffees to opt out.

Bolasie was not listed in Everton’s 2-2 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday which clearly indicates that he is not part of Marco Silva’s plans.

Hapoel Beer Sheva forward Anthony Nwakaeme has been spotted at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport ahead of a proposed move to Trabzonspor.
