Toby Alderweireld will secure the contract of his dreams in the near future, Jermain Jenas believes.
Tottenham may be standing firm against the Belgian’s desire to leave, but with Bayern Munich hovering, the ex-England midfielder believes it is only a matter of time before the centre-back gets his due.
“He’s coming to the end of his career, he wants that big contract, he deserves that big contract and he’s going to get that big contract,” he said of the 29-year-old.
“And if Tottenham aren’t the club to do it, he’ll wait and get it elsewhere.”
