Santiago Solari’s tenure as Real Madrid manager begins in earnest on Saturday lunchtime as the European champions travel to the north of Spain in La Liga’s early kick off.
The Argentine oversaw four successive wins prior to the international break as provisional coach and those results were enough to help earn him a contract at the helm of Real Madrid until 2021.
Now the hard work gets underway as his side travel to the Estadio Ipurua where Los Blancos have won every single match they have ever contested.

Team news
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos picked up a knock on international duty and is a doubt. Nacho is also nursing an injury meaning the centre-back pairing in Eibar could be Jesus Vallejo and Raphael Varane. Full-backs Dani Carvajal and Marcelo should both return from injury.
The home side will be without former Real Madrid wideman Pedro Leon who was operated on this week, while midfielder Papa Diop and defender Anaitz Arbilla are both suspended.
Preview
Real Madrid have won four games out of four under Solari, scoring 15 goals and conceding just twice. Statistically, that is the best start after four matches of any Madrid manager in history although the opposition faced has been generally modest.
Eibar are one of the smallest teams in the Primera Division and their form this term has been somewhat erratic.
Only five sides have managed fewer than their total of 12 goals scored in 14 matches, although Jose Mendilibar’s side have scored in all six of their home games this season.
Nevertheless, Madrid will feel they can keep their hosts quiet on Saturday, and Eibar have only ever scored three La Liga goals in the eight matches they have played against the side from the capital.
